Collector issues order for remaining aid to farmers

On the directions of Collector Avinash Lavania, an amount of more than Rs 4 crore for land acquisition has reached the accounts of 26 farmers of Manjitgarh Panchayat in Berasia within a week. Even as the Public Hearing was shut down due to coronavirus, these farmers had reached collectorate to meet the collector. The Collector had assured to resolve their problem within eight days. The farmers told the collector that land of 200 farmers in village Majitgarh is going into the submerged area of Tem river dam project, out of which the file of 130 farmers was prepared and compensation was distributed. In which the compensation amount of about 100 farmers of Majitgarh was deposited on July 02, 2021 and the compensation amount of 30 farmers was not deposited.
 
Dozens of villagers of Majitgarh Gram Panchayat of Berasia Tehsil of Bhopal reached the Collectorate on Tuesday and talked to the Collector about compensation for the lands that were submerged in their land Tem Medium Irrigation Project. After their meeting, the collector got the amount deposited in the account of the farmers within eight days, on which all the farmers thanked the collector for his help. The Collector thanked the farmers who reached the public hearing by giving them a bunch of flowers and thanked the people who came from far-off places to the public hearing and distributing fruit biscuits.
