Malvika takes on Samiya today

 

 

Among India’s best youngsters in the senior category, southpaw Malvika Bansod will take to courts on Wednesday. She will be up against Hyderabad-based teen Samiya Imad Farooqui. Given her recent form, Malvika, who emerged champion in the BAI Series Senior Badminton Tournament in Hyderabad on New Year eve, is expected to get past Samiya. She is expected to meet Olympic medallist and Indian legend Saina Nehwal in the second round.
