Bhopal Municipal Corporation carried out fogging exercise on Sunday as well. BMC vehicles went to different localities of city and carried out fogging exercise to contain the mosquito menace and protect citizens from mosquito borne disease and other seasonal diseases as well. On Sunday, BMC carried out fogging exercise in Saketh Nagar, Comfort Palm, Rohit Nagar, Babadia Kalan, Green Valley, Kolua Kalan, Damkheda, Semra, Bihari Colony, Shabri Nagar, Patel Colony, Gram Khejda, Abhiruchi Parisar, Lala Lajpat Rai locality, Vikas Nagar etc. Moreover, after seeing sudden rise in corona cases, BMC has also once again taken up the campaign to do sanitisation of public places and offices as well. It is from last few days carrying out sanitization activities.

 

BMC vehicles equipped with spray machines goes to different localities to undertake the sanitisation activities so that common people can be protected from the threat posed by corona third wave. To ensure strict compliance of corona protocol, BMC is also carrying out spot fine drive against those who are found flouting the norms. Mainly action is taken against those who does not wear the mask and do not follow the social distance norm. Everyday, fine of thousands is being recovered from violators of corona protocol. At the same time, BMC is also spreading the awareness against the pandemic and asking people to adhere to corona protection norms.
