Bhopal Rly penalises 332 people for not wearing masks at station

Bhopal railway is carrying out mask checking campaign at all railway stations for past 15 days. Under this campaign, railway has penalised 332 people at different stations from January 1 to 15. Railway has restricted the entry of people at stations and trains without mask covering their nose and mouth. The campaign has begun in order to stop the spread of Covid-19. The campaign is being carried out at all stations under Bhopal division including Rani Kamlapati, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Hoshangabad, Vidisha, Bina, Guna and other station. Railway is penalizing people found without mask on their face covering mouth and nose at station and trains. On Sunday, people found without mast at Bhopal railway station were charge Rs 100 each. Bhopal railway is making continuous announcement at Bhopal, Rani Kamlapati, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Itarsi, Vidisha, Bina Guna and other railway stations.
 
Through the announcement, people are being informed about Covid protocols and how to keep them safe from spread of pandemic. People are being urged to follow the protocols and maintain social distancing with proper mask covering nose and mouth. Railway officials said, continuous sanitisation and sanitisation is being held in entire station premises to stop the spread of pandemic. Special focus is being given to railway track, waiting room, ticket counters, stalls, foot over bridge and circulating areas. Vendors and stalls have been asked to cover the eatables properly and follow the safety guidelines. They have been also asked to promote digital payment and avoid accepting cash amount. Besides, passengers at entry and exit gate are being screened. Team has been deployed in three different shifts. The team is specially focusing on passengers coming from other states.
