Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation, Chairman Vinod Gontia inaugurated new tourism attraction River Rafting at Bargi Dam, on Sunday. River Rafting has been started for attracting tourists towards adventure sports from Bargi Dam Pul Ghat to Nadiya Ghat. MLA, Bargi, Sanjay Yadav, MPSTDC, Regional Officer, KL Patel, Shiv Patel and others were specially present. River Rafting was inaugurated with worship of goddess river Narmada and Kanya Poojan at the hands of eminent guests. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Vinod Gontia congratulated the residents for starting new adventure sports event at Bargi Dam.

 

He said for soon starting more adventure sports events for desired promotion of sports in the district. MLA, Sanjay Yadav informed about several tourism potentials in Bargi assembly constituency also gave valuable suggestions for developing new tourism promotion avenues in the area. Regional Officer, K L Patel informed that now the tourists at Bargi Dam will have new attraction of River Rafting for 3-kilometres from Pul Ghat, Bargi Dam to Nadiya Ghat.
