HARLEY XI, lead by city’s Gurudas Raut, lifted the T20 HAP Cup defeating Ravi XI by 62 runs in one-sided final at Tau Devilal Cricket Stadium in Sector-3, Panchkula, Chandigarh recently. The tournament was organised jointly by Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India and Differently Abled Cricket Council of India. Four teams — Harley 11, Ravi 11, Pravin 11, Anand 11, of top sportspersons from different states across the country participated in the tournament. Batting first, Harley made 161 for 5 in the stipulated overs. Yogendra Bhadauria 67 (49), Gurudas Raut 29 (28), Shanmugam 17 (12) and Lokesh Marghade 15 (12) were the major contributors. For Ravi, Ganesh Pisal snared two while Sunny took one wicket. In reply, Ravi were all out for 99. Sunny 30 (32) was the top scorer. Harley’s Manish Kumar took three wickets while Ravindra Sante snared two.
The trio of Raut, Shanumugam and Ajay Dongre picked one each. Lokesh Marghade and Yogendra Bhadauria were named Best Batsman and Man of the Match.
