INTER-COLLEGE sports meet organised by the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University began at various grounds in the city on Monday. The event kicked-off with kabaddi and football matches. In the A Zone, football teams of Jyotiba College of Physical Education and Umred’s Mahila Mahavidyalaya made it to the final. Women’s kabaddi tournament was inaugurated by Pro VC Dr Sanjay Dudhe at Dharampeth MP Deo MV ground.

 

Principal Dr Dilip Peshwe, Dr Sharad Suryawanshi, Dr Mangesh Pathak and Ulhas Aurangabadkar were prominently present. Dr Madhavi Mardikar inaugurated kabaddi matches at Dadasaheb Dhanwate Nagar Vidyalaya ground in Mahal. Dr Harish Rathi, senior coach Bhau Kane, Principal Dr Ujjwal Lanjewar, Vice-Principal Dr Suchita Marathe, Prof Palash Joshi, tournament incharge Aparna Chaudhary and Headmaster AV Jainabadkar were present.
