CITY’S rising shutter Ananya Durugkar made it to the main draw of Infosys Foundation India International Challenge Tournament in Bengaluru.

In the first round of main draw she will lock horns with Kavipriya Selvam of India.

In the first round she beat Jayani VS of India in a three-game match. She lost the first game 12-21 but won the second and third game 21-16, 21-16. The same day in the second round of qualification she played against 14th seed Kavya Gandhi of India. In a 49-minute clash, Ananya beat her also in three games 21-16, 16-21, 23-21. Ananya, who trains under Kunal Dasarwar, is a student of Ambedkar College.
