A huge meeting was organised at BHEL’s Foundry Gate by ‘BHEL Trade Union Sanyukt Morcha’ to call for early JCM meeting to resolve PP bonus, Deepawali bonus and incentive payment issues on Friday. Seven trade unions of BHEL Bhopal, including HMS AIBEU, CITU, KTU, UMS, SC/ST/OBC union and SC/ST/OBC/Minority union officials, along with hundreds of BHEL employees participated in the meeting.
HMS General Secretary Amar Singh Rathore, AIBEU General Secretary Ram Narayan Giri and Shahid Ali on behalf of CITU Union collectively addressing the gathering said that BHEL management is ignoring the demand of calling JCM. More than three months have passed, even after the circular for formation of new JCM has been issued in the month of August, still no date of JCM has been announced for Diwali bonus.
Therefore, on Friday BHEL Trade Union Sanyukt Morcha, through this gate meeting, warns the management in strong words that by declaring the date of JCM soon, resolve the various living demands of the employees. BHEL Trade Union Sanyukt Morcha will continue to fight to fulfill the demands of the employees.
CITU Spokesperson Atul Malviya, other union spokespersons Ashish Soni, Manoj Dixit claimed that BHEL has made a net profit of Rs 437 crore this year, which is a victory for the labour of the working employees of BHEL. If the management gives respectable bonus to the employees, then it will definitely encourage the hardworking employees, so that this year the production and productivity of the factory will touch new heights.
In today’s meeting, HMS Union General Secretary Amar Singh Rathore, AIBEU General Secretary Ram Narayan Giri, CITU’s Treasurer Shahid Ali, KTU’s former President R S Thakur, UMS President Jitendra Saxena, SC/ST/OBC Employees Officers Union and other officials and hundreds of employees were present.
