As a part of Mission Recruitment, an ambitious project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian Post Office-Durg Division organised Rozgaar Mela at Mahatma Gandhi Kala Mandir Indira Place on Saturday.

The Chief guest of the programme was Dr Bharati Praveen Pawar, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare while Vijay Baghel, MP of Durg Lok Sabha and Vidyaratan Bhasin, MLA of Vaishali Nagar graced the occasion as special guests.

After lighting the lamp, the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi about this Mission Recruitment was streamed through video conferencing, Dr Pawar and special guests distributed joining letters to newly-recruited employees of Indian Post Office in Durg Chapter. They distributed joining letters to 211 new recruited employees of post office, 25 of Indian Railway and 12 of Bhilai Steel Plant.

Under the guidance and supervision of Dinesh Mistri, Nodal Officer and Director of Post Services Chhattisgarh Region Harish Kumar Mahavar of Durg Division and his team organised the event successfully. Many of the new recruited employees came from other districts such as Rajnandgaon and Balod to collect their joining letters.
