Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bastar Division In-charge and Lok Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) Santosh Pandey attacked Congress leader Ranjeet Ranjan for her pro-Naxal statement, saying she has caused immense pain to families of Martyrs. Speaking to the journalists, Santosh Pandey said the person whom Congress gifted a seat of Rajya Sabha by snatching from someone eligible from Chhattisgarh has insulted the sentiments of Chhattisgarhi people right after landing on the pious land of the state.
Shooting stinging questions, Pandey asked Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel as to why he hasn’t yet reacted to the statement of Ranjeet Ranjan and why Congress hasn’t taken any action on Ranjeet Ranjan for her statement? Isn’t Ranjeet Ranjan’s statement advocating Naxals painful to the families of Congress party leaders/party workers, police personnel, villagers who were mercilessly killed by Naxals? Is Congress doling out character certificates to Naxals by forgetting their leaders killed in Naxal violence? Congress needs to answer whether the result of Jhiram Ghati investigation is pending because of Congress’s support to Naxals? Is that why Rahul Gandhi gave clean chit to Naxals that killed Congress leaders? Is that why Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel couldn’t produce a single piece of evidence after four years, but he goes around blowing trumpet of having solid proof and is that why Congress leaders carry Naxal leaders for treatment in Telangana? Santosh Pandey also raked up the issue of Congress party taking Rs 50 lakh as donation from Zakir Naik, who trains the terrorists and questioned Congress’s relation with Zakir Naik. Congress didn’t speak for Manmohan Chand, who was killed in Batla House encounter, but Congress leader Salman Khurshid spoke about how Sonia Gandhi wept all night to mourn death of terrorists. Congress needs to clarify exactly who the Congress sympathises with. Killer of Kashmiri Hindus and security force personnel, terrorist organisation JKLF President Yasin Malik had tea with the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Malik has been jailed by the Government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Santosh Pandey alleged Rajeet Ranjan was made Rajya Sabha MP exactly for her ideology supporting Naxals and anti-public. The Chief Minister needs to apologise and repent for sending Ranjeet Ranjan to Rajya Sabha and demand from high command to expel her from the party
