Jabalpur wins State-level Collegiate Men’s Football C’ship

 

 

 

Jabalpur division team clinched championship of State-level Collegiate Men’s Football Tournament, on Sunday. The tournament was organized under the auspices of Rani Durgawati University, Department of Physical Education. Chief guest on the occasion was Vice-chancellor, Dr Kapil Deo Mishra while Registrar, Professor Brijesh Singh, Professor Vivek Mishra, Dean Students Welfare and Professor Alka Nayak were special guests.

Organising Secretary, Professor Vishal Banne informed that final match of the tournament was played between hosts Jabalpur division and Bhopal division teams. IN the one-sided played match, Jabalpur team blanked the opponent by the lead of 2 – 0 goals and lifted-up glittering winning trophy. Jabalpur team’s Shivam Dubey exhibited

superb game performance and netted two consecutive goals and brought title victory for his team. Dr Sunil Datt Lakhera convened the programme while Dr Shalini Yadav, Dr Ashish Pandey, Dr Kanhaiyya, Sudarshan Singh Thakur, Dr Prasannajit, Dr Neha Tiwari, Dr Vijendra Yadav and others were especially present.
