Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that for future generations the temples are the inspiration centers of India’s unity and integrity. Temples strengthen spirituality by being a symbol of ancient glory of India. Governor Patel was addressing the gathering at the bhoomipujan programme for the construction of the Kutch-Dharniyani Maa Ashapura temple the other day.
Governor Patel said that temples act as a support in preserving and promoting the heritage of our spirituality and cultural unity. Temples are helpful in inculcating the future generation with Indian values of life. Temples with co-ordination of eternal life values help in increasing the awareness of education, culture and social service in the society.
In the programme, Governor Mangubhai Patel honoured the Peethadhish of Kutch Gujarat, Yogendra Singh Rajababa, Moti Sagar Ji Maharaj and narrator Bhagwatacharya Ramji Maharaj. Geeta Mata ji of Ashapura Darbar threw light on the outline of construction of Kutch-Dharniyani Shri Maa Ashapura Temple. Welcome speech was given by Arvind Jain of Darbar. A vote of thanks was proposed by Darbar Secretary Lalit Tated. Renowned dancer Parul Ben Shah performed excerpts from Ram Charitra Manas and her colleagues gave dance performances in praise of Lord Ganesha, Shiva and Shakti. At the beginning of the programme, Governor Patel inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, MLA Rameshwar Sharma and former Mayor of Bhopal Alok Sharma were present.
