Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in-charge Om Mathur on Tuesday held a meeting of BJP Chhattisgarh Core Committee members, State office-bearers, Morcha presidents, District in-charge and presidents. Om Mathur exhorted BJP leaders/office-bearers to contest the election seriously, sincerely and be assured of victory.
Om Mathur reviewed the organisational activities, particularly concerning the ensuing state assembly by-poll at Bhanupratappur. He said that BJP will fight this by election like any other elections they fight giving their best. BJP State President Arun Sao said that they will be holding a big protest over the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana from Panchayat to state-level and the agitation will be launched right after the by-poll. Speaking to state leaders, Om Mathur said that with the sincerity the BJP leaders and workers are serving the people of Chhattisgarh, BJP will wrest power in Chhattisgarh. BJP under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become a party for every village and city. BJP will never fight any election defensive, but always be on aggressive mode. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana aimed at resolving the housing issues of economically backward sections, lower income and middle income group people couldn’t be implemented in Chhattisgarh owing to the indifference on part of the Congress Government. Many poor families haven’t yet got homes and BJP is going to launch a big protest.
BJP National Joint Organization General Secretary Shiv Prakash directed for increasing role in service, social and creative works. Reach out to people with central schemes that brought positive change in lives of people. Regional Organization Secretary Ajay Jamwal said organization is strong up to Mandal level and presented an action plan to mobilize the organization at booth level. BJP State President Arun Sao exhorted booth level functionaries to continuously hold meeting with the people and congratulated Mahila Morcha for the success of Mahatari Hunkar Rally. State General Secretary Kedar Kashyap coordinated the meeting while OP Choudhary proposed a vote of thanks. BJP Core committee also drew out their strategy for special session called on the issue of reservation for Schedule Tribe. Later leader of opposition Narayan Chandel convened a meeting of BJP MLAs regarding the special session. Core Committee members BJP National Vice-President Dr Raman Singh, MLA Brijmohan Agrawal, former leader of opposition Dharamlal Kaushik, Viram Usendi, Pawan Sai, Renuka Singh, former President Vishnudeo Sai, Gaurishankar Agrawal, Saroj Pandey, Mohan Mandavi, Vijay Baghel, Gujaram Ajgale, Gomti Sai, Chunnilal Sahu, Bhupendra Sawanni, Kiran Dev, Sanjay Shrivastav, Sarla Kosariya, Laxmi Verma and Kedar Gupa attended the meeting.
