Students should submit the forms through their secondary schools only. Schools have to take a note that they should have their students enrolled in Saral database. The application forms will be submitted through Saral Data.
Students who have cleared all subjects in March 2022 and July-August 2022 are only eligible to apply under credit improvement scheme. All other students are not allowed to appear under this scheme. The deadline for HSC examination extended twice. Earlier the last date was October 31. The schools too complained that the period clashed with Diwali vacation and it should be further extended.
Lakhs of students appear for the Maharashtra State Board exams. Last year, a total of 16,38,964 candidates had registered for SSC from across nine divisions. Whereas in Mumbai division alone, a total of 3,73,840 students registered for the SSC 2022 exam. For HSC 2022, 14,85,191 students had registered from across Maharashtra wherein 3,25,220 were from Mumbai division alone.
Most parents have welcomed the move of the Board to extend the dates of application submission for SSC and HSC examinations as they found it difficult to submit the forms online in a short duration of time.
