‘La Lumiere - A Journey towards light of self-discovery’ celebrated in DPS MIHAN

Delhi Public School, MIHAN, celebrated its 3rd annual day with a theatrical performance “La Lumiere – A Journey towards the light of self-discovery” on Saturday with gaiety and great fervor.
A myriad of celebrations, replete with drama, music and dazzling dances amidst great zest and vibrancy kept the audience awestruck. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, was the chief guest of the programme. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro- Vice Chairperson of Delhi Public School MIHAN and Kamptee Road, Nagpur, Savita Jaiswal, Director DPS MIHAN and Kamptee Road, Shalabh Kedia, Life Member, Chironjilal Bajoria Educational Society and other prominent dignitaries were present on the occasion.
In his address, Gadkari highlighted that our value based education system and family system is the strength of the Indian society. He emphasized that we need to understand the spirit of education and knowledge of science and technology along with moral values. He appreciated the efforts of the school providing quality education and cultural values to the students. The theatrical performance on the theme of “Time Travel” was an in house production.
It whisked on the spectacular time machine as it propels through territories and time showcasing evolution of human through dance, music and drama stone age era, independence movement, French revolution, Michael Jackson era and futuristic era. All the esteemed guests including the parents congratulated the school for such an edifying theme which requires a quick action on everybody’s part.
