A programme to celebrate the Chhattisgarh Gaurav Diwas was organised at the historic Town Hall of Raipur on Saturday marking the completion of memorable four years of State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. In a virtual message, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel highlighted the achievements and successful initiatives of State Government in the last four years.
CM further said, “Soon after the formation of the government, farm loans were waived-off giving a huge relief to the farmers of State. Farming community in State is now receiving the highest MSP of paddy in country. State Government is also running schemes for every section from farmers to landless agro labourers. First-of-its-kind unique schemes have been launched by the government including Godhan Nyay Yojana for purchasing
cow dung”. Recounting the success of his government in Chhattisgarh, the CM said, “schemes of the government have directly benefited common people and brought prosperity in their lives. We are moving forward in the direction of fulfilling the dreams of our forefathers of a ‘developed and prosperous Chhattisgarh’.
Work is being done for the welfare of every section of society including farmers, labourers, youth, women, and the elderly. The government is committed to inclusive development of State”.
The Chief Minister congratulated and extended best wishes to the people of State on Gaurav Diwas.
Mayor Aijaz Dhebar addressing the function said that the State Government has done a lot of work in the last 4 years for the development and welfare of people of State. Today is a day for the people of State to feel proud. He further said that the works of the government have given Chhattisgarh a different identity in the country. Government has worked for the welfare of every section of society. The Chief Minister has become identity of Chhattisgarh in the whole country for running innovative schemes, he added.
Raipur North MLA Kuldeep Juneja, Collector Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, RMC Commissioner Mayank Chaturvedi along with other public representatives and large number of common people were present in the programme. Earlier, on this special day, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel paid floral tributes to Chhattisgarh Mahtari by garlanding the statue of Chhattisgarh Mahtari at the Collectorate Chowk. He sought the blessings of Chhattisgarh Mahatari for the prosperity of the state and happiness, peace and well-being of the people. Later, he distributed free fresh vegetables from the vegetable langar stall to the needy people.
