RAIPUR,
Chhattisgarh Civil Society will felicitate brave children by celebrating ‘Veer Baal Diwas’ on December 26, 2022.
The organisation had requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister to announce the day as Veer Baal Diwas on December 26.
In a press conference, Chhattisgarh Civil Society convener Dr Kuldeep Solanki informed that he wrote to Prime Minister that Chhote Sahibjade Joravar Singh and Fateh Singh were buried alive in a wall by cruel Wazi Khan at age of just respectively 9-years and 5-years on December 26, 1705. Both kids showed indomitable valor in the face of death. There is hardly any example of such immense courage in the human history.
Hence, it has been requested to fix the 300 years of mistake and announce celebrating Veer Baal Diwas on December 26 of every year. Dr Kuldeep Solanki ran social media campaign #VeerBaalDiwas, which trended at 10th place on twitter. Prime Minister acknowledged the public sentiments and made the announcement on the occasion of Prakash Purab on January 9, 2022 that to pay respect to four Sahibjade of 10th Sikh Guru Gobind Singh the Government will celebrate Veer Baal Diwas on December 26. Chhattisgarh Civil Society will felicitate the brave children on the name of four Sahibjae on this day. Solanki appealed people to send names of brave children on his Whatsapp number 75872-59255. Last date to send the name is December 22, 2022. The children must age below 18-years.
