to ensure preparations to strengthen COVID related health services, a mock drill was conducted at Railway Hospital, on Tuesday. The mock drill was conducted as per Centre’s guidelines under supervision of Principal Chief Medical Director Dr H K Shrivastava at railway hospitals in Jabalpur, Bhopal and Kota divisions under West Central Railway. During the drill, team of doctors checked-out cleaning, functioning and capacity of oxygen generation plant, efficiency of ventilator and oxygen concentrator, inspection of COVID ICU ward and isolation wards, stock of medicines, availability of N-95 masks and PPE kits. Mock drill of admission of emergency COVID positive patients was conducted and medical staff was given training of taking necessary precautions.
The mock drill was conducted under the leadership of Medical Director, Dr BCS Rao, Additional Principal Chief Medical Director (Administration), Dr RN Mishra while ACMD, Dr Kamlesh Kumar and Divisional Medical Officer, Dr Sandeep Chouhan detailed about COVID protocol, use of medicines and medical equipments to nursing and para-medical staff. Medical Director and Senior Divisional Health Officers inspected oxygen plant, fewer clinic and other arrangements.
