Janpad, village panchayat public representatives should work in tandem with people: Minister Singh

Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh said that Janpad and village panchayat public representatives should work in coordination with people in their respective areas and should set example for others. He expressed these views while addressing gathering at the training session of public representatives of rural local bodies of Khurai assembly segment.
Minister Bhupendra Singh said that public representatives of Janapd and village panchayat should work with sincerity and faith. They should hear problems of villagers, should help them and resolve their problems. School and aganwadi centers should run properly, Mid Day Meal and ration distribution should be done on time, the benefit of state and Central government should reach to people, this is responsibility of the elected public representatives.
Minister Singh asked them to study the Panchayat Act as it would help them in knowing about their rights. He would held training session in this regard in future. Each village should have playground. The big Panchayats should try to increase their income sources.
Now the village have internet and mobile connectivity and hence it should be utilised for maximum for knowing the rules, regulation about governments schemes. Minister Bhupendra Singh said that Khurai assembly segment was in bad state during Congress rule hence now during BJP rule developmental works are being done in full spree so as to remove the backlog.
Minister Singh said that rural area local bodies public representatives can resolve problem of their area, those problem which they can resolve they should inform him. He informed that on Jan 4, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh would distribute ‘patta’ in rural areas.
Laxman Singh conducted proceedings of the function. MP Rajbahadur Singh, District BJP President Gaurav Sirothiya, Abhay Pratap Singh Yadav, Janapd President Jamuna Ahirwar, MS Thakur and others dignitaries were present. Later, Minister Singh inspected the area to take stock of the preparation for the forthcoming Dohela Mahotsav. He directed for speeding up construction of Bijasen temple, construction of female changing room at Dohela campus, contractors and officers were directed to complete work on time. He also visited under construction park and Nagar Palika Haat Bazar.
