Rajim Maghi Punni Mela commences today

 

 

 

Preparations for the upcoming Rajim Maghi Punni Mela 2022 have been completed. In the Rajim Maghi Punni Mela 2022, famous folk singers and artists of Chhattisgarh will present traditional arts and cultural programmes of the State. On the first day of the programme i.e. on February 16, Pandwani singers Usha Barle and Dilip Shandhgi will mark the start of the fair with their performances. Similarly, till Mahashivratri on March 1, three programmes will be organised every day. On February 17, Lok Manch will be presented by Mahesh Verma and Lok Prayag Rajim, and Dinesh Jangde will perform Panthi. On February 18, there will be a performance by famous singer Rajni Rajak, Pandwani singer Ritu Verma and Rikhi Kshatriya of Bhilai.

 

On February 19, Famous singer Chhaya Chandrakar will perform. Pandwani singers Prabha Yadav, Gopi Chanda, and Gorelal Burman will perform on February 10. On February 21, Tikendra Verma and Poonam Viraat will perform. On February 22, Pandwani Singer Chetan Dewangan, Bharthari Singer Rekha Jalshatri, and Chandrabhushan Verma of Kharora are going to perform whereas, on February 23, Padma Shri RS Barle will perform Panthi dance whereas Rag Anurag will also perform. On February 24, Lok Manch will be performed by Pappu Chandrakar and on February 25, Himmat Sinha, Amrita Barle, and Deepak Chandrakar will perform. Similar programs are scheduled to take place on 27th and 28th February as well. On the concluding day of the programme, Padma Shri Dr Mamta Chandrakar will perform and Tarun Nishad's Lok Manch program will also be held.
