College Celebration-2022 of Jabalpur Institute of Health Science begins

 

 

 

Tajuddin Sheik, Deputy Commissioner, Jabalpur Region of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan inaugurated College Celebration-2022 of Jabalpur Institute of Health Science (College of Nursing) on Tuesday. Managing Director, Jabalpur Hospital, Dr. Rajesh Dhiravani was present as special guest. Delivering speech, Principal, Nursing College, Dr. Shabana Anjum informed that various sports activities including Kho-Kho, Javelin Throw, Shot-Put, 100 m race, carom, chess and other indoor games will be organised for nursing students in the campus between February 23 and 25. Along with rangoli, mehandi, dance and singing competitions.

 

Deputy Commissioner, Sheik, Dr. Dhiravani and Ashok Tiwari after receiving guard of honour, lit the torch, a symbol of continuity in sports and handed over the same to the contestants. They also release pigeons and balloons in the air. In his address, Deputy Commissioner, Sheik emphasized over the need to revive sports activities in the academic institutions which were put on hold since 2 years during COVID-19 pandemic. Programme was convened by Neha Tiwari Na Jennifer David. Others present were Vice-Principal, Professor Shweta Grigson, Dr. Annie S Mathin, Professor Yashoda Shrivastava, Professor Marcy Jain, Ramkrishna Nema. The teaching staff and office staff contributed to make the programme successful.
