Vehicle-lifter arrested with seven stolen motorcycles worth Rs 4 lakh

 

 

 

 

Vijay Nagar police nabbed a vehicle-lifter and retrieved seven stolen motorcycles from him worth Rs 4 lakh, on Wednesday. The accused has been identified as Bharat Barman (24), son of Munnalal Barman, native of Devgavan Jagdish Mandir in Katangi and currently lived at Abhimanyu Chowk in Panagar.

According to Vijay Nagar police, they received information of a suspected man sight in the area with some wrong intentions. Acting promptly on the information, police started a search and nabbed the suspect named Bharat Barman. In the rigorous questioning, the accused broke out and confessed the stealing of seven motorcycles from Bhedaghat, Tilwara, Panagar, Gohalpur and other areas. On his identification, police have retrieved total 7 stolen motorcycles from the accused. The vehicle lifter was arrested with active working of

police team comprised of SHO, Vijay Nagar, Soma Malik, SI, Jagannath Yadav, ASI, Panchamlal Yadav, ASI, Beniram Uike, Constables, Vinay Singh, Shravan Saroj, Balram Warkade, Ajay Singh, Sharad Singh and Ramavtar Tiwari.
