Volunteers of National Service Scheme (NSS), Rani Durgavati University (RDU) were welcomed at Railway Station after participating in Republic Day parade, on Thursday. These volunteers were among six NSS volunteers of Madhya Pradesh and top 200 volunteers selected for Republic Day Parade Camp 2022 organised at Rajpath, New Delhi.
Volunteers including Ankit Lakhera (MBA Department, RDU) and Rahul Patel (JSTPJ College, Balaghat) and Arvind Kumar Lodhi, student, NSS Open Unit, RDU performed dance and participated in other activities presented in front of President, Ram Nath Kovind. They also got a chance to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Cabinet Minister for Sports, Anurag Thakur. Governor, Mangubhai Patel and Madhya
Pradesh Higher Education Minister, Mohan Yadav welcomed volunteers on their return in Bhopal and extended greetings for bright future. Further at Jabalpur station, NSS, RDU, Programme Coordinator, Professor Ashok Kumar Marathe and Programme Officer, Dr Devanshu Gautam along with other NSS volunteers gave a warm welcome with presenting flowers and bouquets to the team. On the other hand, RDU Vice Chancellor, Professor Kapil Deo Mishra and Registrar, Brijesh Singh extended greetings and warm wishes to the volunteers for their bright future.
