Dr Manvendra Ramteke, who has recently joined Mahagenco as Director (HR), has started a novel series of advanced skill development workshops to improve the soft skills of officers / employees of Mahagenco. The first workshop in this series was organised in Koradi Thermal Power Station on the topic “Leadership and Team Management”. Dr Ramteke conducted the proceedings of the session very aptly. While explaining the virtues of a good leader, he stressed on the qualities a good leader should possess and harness. He also discussed on various styles of leadership, their pros and cons and deliberated in details on the subject by very apt examples. He also made conscious effort to make the session interactive so that participants discussed their view point and apprehensions freely. Top management of Mahagenco from Koradi TPS was present in the session.

 

At the end Prakash Khandare, Chief Engineer, KTPS, Koradi and Rajkumar Taskar, Chief Engineer (Training.), KTC, Koradi expressed their satisfaction over the initiative. The second workshop in the series was conducted in Koradi training centre for the top management of Khaperkheda TPS. Raju Ghuge, Chief Engineer, Khaperkheda thanked Dr Ramteke and asked the participants to use tips given by him for developing leadership qualities and improving time management. Third workshop was organised for the staff of Koradi Project, Gen. Construction, Coal Office and Koradi Civil. Dr Manvendra Ramteke assured that this series of workshops will continue on some new subjects.
