NAGPUR gymnasts excelled in the 27th Acrobatics Gymnastics State Championship was held at Jalgaon recently. In the junior categories, men’s pair of Tanay Dhopade and Areen Pandit and in the same category for women, the pair of Avanee Rathor and Khanak Jain bagged gold medals. In the senior category of women’s pair Prachi Parkhi and Ayushi Ghodeswar won a silver and a bronze medal each.In the senior category of mix pair, the duo of Rushikesh Warade and Alfiya Khan returned with a bronze medal. The team was coached by Mukesh Ghyar and Sanket Vinchurkar. Vice-President of Gymnastics Association, Nagpur Purshottam Darwankar congratulated and encouraged the winners and the coach.
