“Hadas High School teachers nurtured and blessed the students. Even today, we automatically bow to these deities while walking in front of the school. Similarly, the bhawan made in memory of students’ ideal teacher P R Joshi should not remain a place of assembly but should become temple of knowledge,” said renowned ENT specialist and National President of Foundation of Head and Neck Oncology, India, Dr Madan Kapare. P R Joshi was Principal of Hadas High School for more than two decades. The inauguration of the Joshi Bhavan, made in memory late P R Joshi of and the inauguration of the pre-primary school ‘Tarangan’ took place on Saturday. He was speaking on the occasion. Additional Commissioner of Nagpur Municipal Corporation Ram Joshi, President of Liberal Education Society Dr V B Spray, Secretary Dr A P Joshi was prominently present.

 

A former student of the school, Dr Kapre further said that the school has a glorious heritage, which the next generation needs to know, for which he suggested naming classrooms after teachers. “As team of students from this school, we will continue to do our best to help the alumni take the school forward,” he testified. Dr A P Joshi, Satish Salpekar, Neelima Sathe-Pathak, Jayshree Joshi revived the memories of P R Joshi. Introductory speech was given by Dr V B Sapre while by Ashwini Khar moderated the program. CBSE Headmistress Dr Prajakta Gangakhedkar-Shukla proposed vote of thanks. Dignitaries from various fields and alumni were present.
