Passing through Ghamapur square proves dear for the residents due to mismanaged traffic arrangements and chaotic traffic jam during peak working hours. Surprisingly, Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) has failed in operating traffic signal at Ghamapur square which is out of order since a long time.

It may be noted that Jabalpur Smart City Limited is operating traffic signals in the city and implementing Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) for better traffic management. Two of the traffic signals i.e. These two traffic signals are being operated under JMC through public private partnership (PPP) mode for 10-years.

What is disappointing is the fact that only two traffic signals being operated under the supervision of JMC are proving troublesome for the residents.

The traffic signal at the Ghamapur square could not be operational since a long time while timer of traffic signal at Teen Patti square is not functional.
