The body of a 29-year-old engineer was found hanging to the ceiling of his house in Shahpura area in the wee hours of Monday. The wife of deceased told the cops that in past two years he had lost his father, then mother and brother. Often he used to wake up in his sleep calling his mother and father. He used to say that he sees his mother and father in his dreams. He got married only about a year ago and also had an altercation with his wife on Sunday night. However, the family has denied any estrangement or quarrel. No suicide note was found from the spot. He wanted to start his own import-export business leaving the job of a sub-engineer in the municipal corporation. According to police reports, Akash Tiwari (29), living in Rudra Phase-2 of Shahpura, was an engineer by profession. He was married about eight months back to Saloni Dubey, a resident of Sagar. SI Shubham Pandey, who is probing the case, told ‘The Hitavada’ that Akash was found hanging to the noose at around 3 am on Monday. On reaching the spot, the dead body was sent for the PM. Akash’s wife Saloni said that there was a fight between them after having dinner at around 12:30 am on Sunday night. Angrily, Akash went into the room. He locked the door from inside. There was no sound for a while, so when she called, there was no answer. After this Saloni woke up the neighbours and when the neighbours somehow reached inside by breaking the door, Akash was found on the noose. After this Saloni informed the police. SI Pandey said that no suicide note was found from the spot. The real cause of death will be revealed only after the post-mortem report. Saloni told the police that Akash’s parents and elder brother had died in the last two years. Since then, Akash used to live under mental stress. He would often wake up at night calling his mother and father. He lost his elder brother in an accident after the death of his father due to corona and mother from cancer. After their deaths, he was very broken and would often tell his wife that he saw his mother and father in his dreams. He had left the job of a municipal sub engineer 4 months ago.

Saloni told the cops that after the death of his mother and father, Akash had created a profile on the matrimonial site. Through this, he was married in May 2021. After marriage, he came to Bhopal and started a job in DPS. He was currently working in Sagar Public School.
