The Bhopal Police have given permission to Hindu organisations to take out processions from Itwara-Budhwara areas on Hanuman Jayanti (April 16) in the Old City Bhopal.
In the backdrop of recent Khargone incident, on Wednesday, Sheher Qazi had said that Hindu organisations had warned of taking out processions from these areas, which are narrow and sensitive, which might instigate fear and uneasiness in a
particular section of society amid the holy month of Ramadan.
Meawhile, organisers of the procession will have to comply with 16 conditions of the police while taking out the procession. The devotees participating in the procession will not carry arms and weapons. Objectionable slogans, banners and posters will not be used to hurt the people of any other religion or section. The organiser will be held responsible in case of any discrepancy. For this, legal action will be taken against them.
Jai Maa Bhavani Hindu Sangathan receives permission: The Bhopal Police have given permission to Jai Maa Bhavani Hindu Sangathan for taking out a procession from Kali Ghat temple to Cha Batti Chauraha, Budhwara, Itwara, Mangalwara, Azad Market, Jumerati, Ghoda Nakkas, Bus Stand Bhopal Talkies, Jhule Lal Mandir, Sindhi Colony.
The procession will begin on April 16 at 4:30 pm. The organisations District Vice-President Naveen Khare had sought permission for the procession. Bhanu Hindu, President of Jai Maa Bhavani Sangathan, said that like every year, the procession will be taken out peacefully and in harmony. We will strictly follow the conditions of the police.
Police eyes on those trying to create unrest: Police have made security arrangements
for Hanuman Jayanti, Easter, Ramzan. Especially the police are vigil on anti-social elements trying to create unrest.
Mangalwara police have registered a case against two people who spread rumours on social media. Total 15 people have been bonded over. Police are holding meetings with prominent people of every society for all these
festivals.
