The lethargic attitude of Barkatullah University (BU) can be guessed with the incident where examination has been cancelled for two times within a month. Reason for cancelling the exam for two times remains the same, paper leak. On April 26, B.Com second year practical economics group Indian Company Act paper was scheduled. The exam was to begin at 11 am but before starting the paper, students from S L Jain College in Vidisha received the question paper on WhatsApp group at 10 am. Sources said that college opened the confidential envelop before scheduled time and paper was leaked by someone. After the incident came into light, Barkatullah University cancelled the entire exam. Students in Bhopal and other few districts wrote their complete paper and submitted the same on time. Later, students were informed that exam was cancelled and all these students will be re-appearing for exam. The university has rescheduled exam on May 6. The University will issue show cause notice to Principal Kshitij Jain. If he fails to reply in proper way, then university will cancel the college exam centre.
