The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has released results for X and XII students on Friday. State School Education Minister Indar Singh Parmar announced the result digitally with a single click. Principal Secretary of School Education Department Rashmi Arun Shami, Commissioner Abhay Verma and other officials were present during the declaration of result. For the first time board has released result for both classes together. Around 3.50 lakh students in class X and 1.20 lakh students in class XII failed the exams.
After the result, MPBSE also released the merit list of both classes. Passing percentage of X remained as 59.54 per cent while for XII passing percentage remained as 72 per cent. There were 18 lakh students who appeared in both exams out of which 3.50 lakh failed in X and 1.20 students failed in XII exam. All the 11 toppers are girls and they belongs to small cities. Students can check their result from portal and MPBSE mobile app. In class X, Nancy Dubey from Chhatarpur and Suchita Pande from Satna are the joint toppers in State. Both girls have scored 496 marks (99.2 %). In class XII there are nine toppers from different subjects and all are girls. In class XII Arts group, Ishita Dubey from Sagar scored 480 marks while in Math group Pragati Mittal from Sheopur scored 494 marks. In Commerce group, Khusboo Shivhare from Morena scored 480 marks. In Biology group, Divyata Patel from Shajapur scored 491 marks. There 153 students in class XII merit list, including 93 girls and 60 boys. Besides, board has also released the result for higher secondary (vocational), DPSE Diploma in School Education (DPSE), Physical Education Training Certificate Main Exam 2022. After a gap of two years, students appeared at the centres to write the exam. For past two years, exams were being held in online mode or students were passed based on internal valuation due to the pandemic. MPBSE is also providing re-totalling and copy checking facility to the students. Students interested for the same are allowed to apply within 15 days of result. Any student having doubt on evaluation can apply for re-totalling or copy checking. After finding any mistake, rectified result will be released by the board. In the year 2019, result was 61.37% while in 2018, result for both classes were 66%. For past two years 2020 and 2021, result was declared on formula based due to the pandemic.
