four more remains of Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV) suspected to be rocket parts such as structural components of the thrusters, were found in Sindewahi tehsil in last 48 hours. The two cylinders were found on Sunday while two more remains of SLV were detected on Monday which were deposited at Sindewahi Police Station on Monday, informed Ganesh Jagdale, Tehsildar, Sindewahi.
Panic spread among the general public after watching the flying objection from the sky at 7.45 pm on Saturday evening. The local Revenue officers of Sindewahi, cops and the general public reached the incident spot to have a glimpse of objects that fell down on the earth. This round shaped metal is 10 by 10 feet in diameter, 8 inches wide and weighs 50-60 kgs found at Ladbori village in Sindewahi tehsil.
Meanwhile, the four cylinders were found at different places in Sindewahi tehsil in the last 48 hours. The two cylinders were found at Pawanpar and Maregaon villages in Sindewahi
tehsil on Sunday while two more cylinders were found at Kunjawahi and Asolamenda talao areas in Sindewahi on Monday. The cylinders might be weighted around 6.800 kgs and have the same number on it (3CCA301001B), informed Jagdale, Tehsildar, Sindewahi. He further informed that the three cylinders were deposited at Sindewahi police station.
The cops of Sindewahi reached Asolamenda talao to collect the fourth one, informed Jagdale.
