Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on Bharatiya Janata Party’s Foundation Day on Wednesday addressing the party workers at party headquarters, said “we are proud of being workers of the BJP. Chouhan said that BJP’s expansion is being seen under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that even the BJP is dominating north-eastern states and working successfully there. Shivraj Singh recalled the party workers that they should keep in mind that workers are not only political workers but are also here to make the country strong. In this programme, National Joint Organisational General Secretary Shivprakash, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and several other party leaders listened to the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President J P Nadda. Earlier, prior to the Foundation Day celebration ceremony, General Secretary Shivprakash and Chief Minister Chouhan along with party workers hoisted party flag and garlanded the statues of Pt Deendayal Upadhyay, Kushabhau Thakre and Rajmata Scindia. Later, they paid floral tributes to photograph of Pyarelal Khandelwal.
Chouhan said that journey was started from Jan Sangh and
Pt Deendayal Upadhyay, Atal Behari Vajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani, Kushabhau Thakre, Sunder Singh Bhandari like several leaders joined Dr Shyamaprasad Mukherjee. Chouhan said that our country becoming a powerful, prosperous and glorious India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Later, a ‘shobhayatra’ was organised in which
party state executives and a large number of workers
participated.
