Action of razing down of encroachments and occupancies over Government land has begun in the State capital as Collector Avinash Lavania has decided to crackdown on land Mafia. On the instructions of Chief Minister Chouhan, strict steps are being taken against the land Mafia in the district. In Bhopal, encroachment was razed down in Kolar and Huzur. The above proceedings were completed by the Revenue Department in the presence of Bhopal Municipal Corporation and police personnel. In Huzur Tehsil, action was taken to remove encroachment from government land and to bring the land of plots built on illegal colonies in their original form. SDM Akash Srivastava and Tehsildar Chandrashekhar Srivastava said that illegal plotting was done by Avadh Narayan in village Ratibad on 1.486 hectare,

its cost is about 3 crores, the land was freed and brought in its old form. Shahid Khan’s shed shop in village Secunderabad on 300 square feet worth Rs 15 lakh, was built on Government land. Similarly, plots were being sold by Chhoteram by illegal plotting on Government land, which is worth about Rs 1.5 crore. This land was brought back to its original form. In village Barkheda Nathu 0.790 hectares of private land, illegal plotting was being done by Iram Ahmed, whose cost is Rs 3 crore, that land was brought in its original form.

Govt land worth Rs 10 crore freed: As per the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, an anti-Mafia campaign is going on continuously in Bhopal. Encroachment was removed from the Government land worth an estimated amount of Rs 10 crore. Under the leadership of Additional District Magistrate Dilip Yadav, SDM Kolar Kshitiz Sharma and Tehsildar, the action was taken to remove the encroachment in the presence of Bhopal Municipal Corporation staff.

ADM Dilip Yadav said that the automobile workshop was built illegally on the Government land and its commercial operation was being done. In this regard, instructions were also given to the concerned to remove the illegal construction.
