There is good news for denizens worried with the scorching heat conditions. There are no chances of heat wave in any parts of State after May 13. Though mercury will be soaring on May 11, 12 and 13 but from May 14 to 24, temperature will see marginal drop. Pre Monsoon activities would begin in Madhya Pradesh after monsoon reaches Kerala. Moisture will get dissolve in air from Bay of Bengal after Toofan Aasani touches Odisha borders. A western disturbance is being active from May 12 that would bring moisturised air in state. There will be clouds in sky and temperature will be declining gradually. Most of districts in Madhya Pradesh will have day temperature below 42 degrees Celsius.
On Tuesday, heat wave was felt in Guna, Rajgarh, Khargone, Khandwa and Ratlam districts. There were no major changes in maximum temperature. Highest maximum temperature was recorded as 46 degrees Celsius in Ratlam.
Weather Department has forecast heat wave in few districts including Gwalior, Khandwa, Khargone, Badwani, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Narmadapuram, Ratlam, Rajgarh, Chhatarpur, Sagar, Tikamgarh, Panna, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Sidhi and Damoh districts on Wednesday.
On May 11, temperature in Bhopal will be around 44 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius. On Tuesday, Bhopal recorded maximum temperature as 42.0 degrees Celsius which is one degrees above normal and minimum temperature was recorded as 29.2 degree Celsius which is 4 degrees above normal mark. Indore recorded maximum temperature as 42.2 degrees Celsius which is 2 degrees above normal and minimum temperature as 28.0 degrees Celsius which is 4 degrees above normal. Jabalpur recorded maximum temperature as 40.7 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature as 25.5 degrees Celsius. Gwalior recorded maximum temperature as 41.4 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature as 27.9 degrees Celsius. IMD Bhopal has said that Indore and Ujjain will be recording day temperature above 44 degrees Celsius while Bhopal will have day temperature above 45 degrees by the end of May. According to IMD Bhopal, from May 12 to 14, temperature will be declining. From May 15 to 26, another phase of humidity and heat waves would begin in state. This would be hottest day of May. There will be clouds in sky from May 12 to 14 due to which temperature will be declining.
