Paying tributes to the police personnel who were martyred on duty in a late night encounter with poachers in Aaron village of Guna district, Energy Minister and Guna District Incharge Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar said that the culprits will not be spared. Expressing condolences to the families of the soldiers who made sacrifices, the Energy Minister said that strict steps will be taken to prevent recurrence of such crimes in future. Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has informed that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has decided that all three police comrades will be given martyr status, a sum of rupees one crore will be given to their family members and one family member will be given government service.
It is to be known that in the encounter with the hunters of, SI Rajkumar Jatav of Aaron Police Station, Constable Neeraj Bhargava, Constable Santram Meena and Lakhan Giri were shot during patrolling. Lakhan Giri is admitted in the district hospital in critical condition, while three police personnel including the SI died. A hunter has also been killed in the encounter.
