JAWAHARLAL Nehru High School, Saoner started their softball campaign on a winning note during the Khasdar Krida Mahotsav Season 4 at Divisional Sports Complex on Saturday.

Aryan Dhote (1), Sourav Wankhede (2) and Pranay Ghogal (3) were the run scorers as Saoner beat Pandit Bacchraj Nagpur by seven runs.

The winning team in boys and girls categories will get Rs 20,000 each.

Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Softball Federation of India President Nital Narang.
