Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited, Managing Director, Manjeet Singh honoured officers and employees of Satpura Thermal Power Station, Sarni for record operation from 250-250 MW units number 10 and 11 for 100 and 200-days.

It may be noted that Satpura TPS, Sarni’s 250 MW Unit-11 created new record of continuous power generation for 202-days and tripped on May 20 and again synchronized on May 24. Similarly, Unit-10 is registering uninterrupted performance since last 123 days.

Unit-10 registered 97.36 percent Plant Load Factor (PLF), 100-09 percent Plant Availability Factor (PAF), 0.62-kilogram per unit Specific Coal Consumption, 7.86 percent Auxiliary Consumption and 0.03-mililitre Specific Oil Consumption. Similarly, Unit-11 achieved 100-71 percent Plant Availability Factor, 91.92 percent Plant Load Factor, 0.63-kilogram per unit specific coal consumption, 7.93 percent auxiliary consumption and 0.02 mililitre per unit specific oil consumption. On the occasion, MPPGCL, MD, Manjeet Singh and Director (Commercial), PRateesh Kumar Dubey ho9noured to STP, Sarni, Chief Engineer, Engineers and Technical Employees with letter of appreciation and encouraged them to maintain their performance in future.
