Jabalpur Regional EPFO released pension payment orders to 34 retired employees on day of retirement. It may be mentioned that under the ambit of "PRAYAAS" Scheme the Regional Office, Jabalpur is ensuring to release the pension payment orders to members of Employees' Pension Scheme, 1995 on day of retirement. Recently, the office has released pension payment orders (PPO) to 34 pensioners on their day of retirement. Rakesh Sahrawat, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I handed over PPO to the retiring employees of various establishments in a function organized at Regional Office, Jabalpur. The member of Employees Pension Scheme were hilarious while accepting PPO on day of retirement and thanked the Regional Office, Jabalpur for its campaign to handover PPO to pensioners on day of retirement.

 

On the directives of PF Commissioner-I, Sehrawat, the Enforcement Officers have made arrangements with the assistance of employers of various establishment to handover the PPOs to those pensioners who were not able to approach the office to get the PPO. PPOs to Ramlal Kol, Narendra Kumar Soni and Satyendra Kumar Gautam were handed over by the authorities of establishment M/s ACC Limited, Kaymore, Katni. Similarly, PPOs were also given to retiring employees at District Office, Satna and Chhindwara. Sehrawat, PF Commissioner-I, informed that during the month of May, 13 pension cases were received in this office in which member was willing to draw pension from bank situated at other states. These cases were taken on priority and all relevant documents were forwarded to concern Regional Provident Fund Office to ensure that the pension payment orders may be released to pensioners on day of retirement. Similarly, the PPO and papers related to other retirement benefits were handed over to Jawahar Lal Haldkar on his retirement day by Sahrawat, Regional Commissioner-I.
