The National Organisation of Bank Workers (NOBW) will host its office-bearers’ meeting in the city on June 12. Announcing this at a press meet held at Press Club on Saturday, Man Mohan Das, General Secretary of NOBW, said the meeting will witness detail discussions on various important resolutions passed in triennial conference held at Lucknow on April 15 and 16. There will be a discussion on formation of small committee for the upcoming 12th bipartite settlement negotiations.
The resolutions that were passed in Lucknow meeting were:- 1) At par treatment to all registered trade unions; 2) Upgradation of pension for bank employees; 3) Anomalies under 10th - 11th bi-partite settlement for bank employees; 4) Keep the premium rates on medical insurance to the affordable level to the retired employees; 5) Opposing outsourcing ; 6) Conversion of part time employees to full time, and 7) Problems of women employees. “As an action programme for the resolution of these issues, UFBU has decided to declare one-day all India bank employees strike on June 27 2022. In this connection Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has declared ‘Dharna Andolan’ at Delhi on November 17,” said Manmohan Das.
