The Department of Physical Education and Sports, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University celebrated International Yoga Day in a unique way. The department organised a metro ride for all the sportspersons of its sports centres and performed yoga in it on Tuesday.

RTMNU Vice-Chancellor Dr Subhash Chaudhari, Pro-VC Dr Sanjay Dudhe, Registrar Dr Raju Hiwse, RTMNU Department of Physical Education and Sports Director Dr Sharad Suryawanshi and others were prominently present on the occasion.

International yoga player Dhanashree Lekurwale performed yoga in the metro along with sportspersons and guests.

Karatekas, athletes, shuttlers, footballers, gymnasts of sports centre of RTMNU performed yoga inside the metro which travelled to and fro between Freedom Park and Khapri.
