Hundreds of children took the ‘Fun Ride’ along with their parents and grandparents. Enroute their journey, the enthusiastic children couldn’t take their eyes off the bird’s eye view of the city that the Metro ride offered. The children took a one-way metro ride between Sitabuldi and Khapri Metro station. It was the first time after the Covid-19 crisis that The Hitavada Twinkle Club had arranged such a joyful event for the children.

The children were all smiles as they posed for pictures in front of the ‘Maha Metro Mascot’ at Sitabuldi Metro station. The Hitavada team also provided them some refreshments during the ride. Children thanked The Hitavada team for making this journey a memorable one.

Dr Ashish Manohar, a parent said, “We everyone in the family were waiting for the Twinkle Club activities which was stopped due to pandemic. We all got excited when we saw the advertisement of this ‘Fun Ride’ in the newspaper one week ago.”

Tanmay Dinesh Wairagade, a student of Sindhi Hindi English Primary School said, “Me and my sister were waiting for Twinkle Club events from last two years. We are thankful to Twinkle Club and Maha Metro for this ride.”

Adya Chelani, another

participant of the ride said, “It was a most-awaited event for me and my friends. We enjoyed this ride and we are now waiting for the yearly Twinkle Club membership drive.”

Many kids kept moving up and down from their seats and peering through the window panes to experience their city from a different angle.

Many of them enjoyed the sudden pick-up and braking of the metro which they never experienced in any trains. The world-class facilities on the station were also appreciated by everyone. The Hitavada team and Nagpur Metro team worked hard to make the ‘Fun Ride’ a grand success.
