Cong’s Jagat Bahadur Singh getting in touch with voters

Congress Mayoral candidate, Jagat Bahadur Singh ‘Annu’, along with senior party leaders and workers, has undertaken extensive election campaigning and seeking people’s support. He, along with MLA Lakhan Ghanghoria and party workers, did campaigning in Dr. Zakir Hussain ward, Subhash Chandra Bose ward, Sanjay Gandhi ward, Rabindranath Tagore, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Motilal Nehru and Dr Zakir Hussain ward of the East Assembly, on Sunday.
After garlanding the statue of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar in Ambedkar Colony, Annu started campaigning from Raza Chowk, He was warmly welcomed at many places.
Speaking on the occasion Annu said he is a resident of the city and also served people as dedicated opposition Corporator in the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation for 15 years. While interacting with the citizens, he also raised question that it is a matter of concern and contemplation that why the people of city, who have been living on the bank of river Narmada have not been provided with sufficient potable water.
He also questioned the Bharatiya Janata Party why it failed to provide the basic facility to denizens despite being in power for 18 years in JMC. He said dirty drain water is still being released into the pious river Narmada.
Jagat Bahadur Singh visited 21 kilometre area of the Assembly on foot and appealed people to solicit their blessings. Congress candidate who are in the fray for the post of Corporator from wards under the East Assembly also participated in the campaigning.
