Speed skating camp concludes

 

 

 

The seven-day special Speed Skating Development Programme for emerging skaters concluded on Thursday at NIT Skating Rink.

Selected skaters from all over India took part in the camp which was conducted under the watchful eyes of Indian skating coach Italian Girulio Ravasi. The camp was organised under the aegis of Roller Skating Federation of India, Skating Association of Maharashtra by Nagpur District Roller Skating Association.

Dr Vijay Datarkar, Principal, Jyotiba College of Physical Education, Anil Bobade, Chairman, Nagpur District Roller Skating Association, Secretary Dr Upendra Verma, Joint-Secretary Vishnu Waghe, Nitin Kathote, Piyush Akare, Ayush Meshram, Aditya Chatpalliwar, Raj Khobragade and others were present. Ravasi guided the skaters and gave them finer tips to improve their timings. The closing ceremony was conducted by NDRSA Treasurer Swapnil Madan Samarth. Dr Verma proposed a vote of thanks.
