INDIAN Friends Football Club (IFFC) defeated Amma FC 3-2 to clinch the Women’s Futsal Cup organised by IFFC Chankapur at Legends Turf, Godhni Road recently.

In the exciting final, IFFC scored through Kajal Bhajankar, Trupti Sakhre and Malvika Tembhurne. For Amma FC, Rinki Yadav and Sneha Uikey found the back of the net.

Earlier in the semis, IFFC beat Allies FC 1-0. Malvika Tembhurne scored the winner. In the other semis, Amma FC beat Nagpur Gymkhana ‘B’ 7-0. Muskan Upadhyay (3), Rinky Yadav (3) and Sneha Uikey (1) scored the goals.

Ronnie Chaterjee, Stanley Gregory, Jitendra Mudliar, Yasir Siddiqui, Amit Anthony, Mohammad Jaffar, Ronald David were the guests for the prize distribution.

Pranay Deshmukh, Mangesh Yaduwanshi, Ganesh Shahu worked hard for the success of the tournament.

Individual prize winners: Player of the Tournament: Muskan Upadhyay (Amma FC); Best Goalkeeper: Sonakshi Bhutani (IFFC); Best Defender: Isha Sillare (Allies FC), Best Player of the Final: Trupti Sakhare (IFFC); Best player from the Runners-Up Team: Sneha Uikey (Amma FC); Emerging Player of the Tournament: Pari Mishra (Kick Soccer India).
