Attendance in Government schools in the State capital was very low due to heavy rainfall. At the same time, attendance was less by five to ten per cent in private CBSE schools. On the other hand, some CBSE schools on Monday declared a holiday due to heavy rains, due to which the children reached the school and returned home. As the schools had sent messages to the parents a little late, so the children were ready beforehand and left for school. Some got the message on reaching the school and some got the message on the way. Because of this they had to come back. Parents say that the school management had to send the message on time. At the same time, the attendance of children in government schools was very low. Flooding in some government schools also caused problems.
Primary classes were given a holiday: Principals of private schools said that it rained since 6 in the morning. Due to this the classes of Nursery and KG were cancelled. At the same time classes from fifth to twelfth were conducted. At the same time, the teachers said that the number of children is less, hence the classes were reduced. The text will be sent to the WhatsApp group for all children. At the same time, the re-examinations of fifth and eighth in government schools will start from July 18.
Special classes are being organised in the schools for the children who failed in class V and VIII of the previous year. In this, whatever questions were wrong in the previous exam, those questions are being identified and solved. If the children are not able to get 33 per cent marks in this examination also, then they will be placed again in the same class.
