On Tuesday, Nagpur district registered single-day COVID-19 cases double than the cases reported on Monday. On Monday, 67 people tested positive for coronavirus while, on Tuesday, 146 got infected of virus. This has taken the cumulative tally to 5,80,290. With 92 persons recovered from coronavirus, it has taken the cumulative recovery to 5,69,088. Active cases increased further to 873 while testing increased to 1,886.

Fortunately, the district is able to maintain the recovery rate at 98.14%.

Number of persons taking treatment in various hospitals again increased to 21 on Tuesday from 18 that was registered on Monday. Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) has 6 patients of coronavirus, Meditrina has three, Kingsway Hospital has 5, two each Railway Hospital, Ganga Care Hospital and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH) has one.

District registered 1,886 COVID-19 testing. Nagpur rural reported 534 testing while city’s testing stood at 1,352. This has taken the cumulative testing to 56,89,666.
