78.52 per cent voting recorded for Berasia Municipal body poll

The voting for the last phase of the urban body concluded on Wednesday. Candidates tried their luck for the post of 18 ward councillors in Berasia Municipality of the State capital. A total of 78.52 per cent voting has been recorded from 7 am to 5 pm.
SDM Aditya Jain said that the voting has been completed peacefully. Collector Avinash Lavania, IG rural Irshad Wali, along with election observer Rajesh Jain kept inspecting the polling stations since Wednesday morning. In Berasia, 35 polling booths were set up for the municipal elections. A total of 20,044 voters including 10716 males and 9327 females cast their votes in Berasia. The results of the elections will be announced on July 20.
About 25,527 voters in 18 wards of city council Berasia On July 13 in the Municipal Council, Barasia, voting was held for the post of counselor in 18 wards. All arrangements were made by the District Election Office for peaceful voting in Berasia. In 18 wards of the Municipal Council, Berasia, there are a total 25 thousand 527 voters including male voters 13 thousand 149, female voters 12 thousand 377. Voting was arranged at 35 polling stations of the Voter Municipal Council, Berasia. Here 11 polling stations are sensitive while there is no polling station in the vulnerable category. A polling station has also been made a model polling station.
