A tribute paying programme was organised at Jawaharlal Darda ICU building at Seth Govinddas Hospital, on the beginning of Jawaharlal Darda Centenary Year, on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion chief guest MLA Vinay Saxena said the life of freedom fighter Jawaharlal Darda is inspirational for present generation and the coming generation too. He fought for freedom to liberate the country and made journalism a medium to bring public awareness in the country.

Saxena said Darda gave new dimensions to journalism. He said Babuji raised the voice of poor and downtrodden through journalism, while he did many service works through politics. Those also paid tributes were CMHO Dr. Ratnesh Kuraria, RMO Dr. Pankaj Grover, CMO Dr. Rajkumar Choudhary, Sanjay Paroha of Lokmat and others.
